Arsene Wenger aims subtle swipe at Joachim Low after Shkodran Mustafi's injury

Fans will be clamouring to see Alexis Sanchez, Alexandre Lacazette and Ozil all starting together up top at Vicarage Road - for some reason Wenger has been reluctant to field the trio all at the same time so far this season.

"I am thinking about sorting out the [defensive] problem, but overall I will completely decide what I do tomorrow", Wenger said.

Alex Iwobi has impressed during his stint in the line-up and Arsene Wenger could continue to show faith in the Nigerian forward.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been speaking to reporters ahead of his side's clash against Watford, with his comments published online by ESPN.

Another player that picked up an injury during the break was summer signing Sead Kolasinac, but Wenger doesn't expect the Bosnian international's hip problem to be too serious.

Wenger explained: "Koscielny has a definite final test tomorrow. It looks like if he survives the test he is capable to play".

"I will decide what I have to do when Koscielny has his test tomorrow".

The central defender missed France's recent internationals and has not played since the victory against West Bromwich on September 25 due to an ongoing Achilles problem. At the moment, he's not available. "But he trained on his own and the first signs are positive so we made a decision to give him a test tomorrow".

Concerningly right now is that Arsenal's only fit central defenders are Rob Holding, Per Mertesacker and Nacho Monreal. "I will make a check up this morning, but the news we have on him is quite positive".

Attack: Mesut Ozil is back in contention after recovering from a knee injury that's kept him out for the last four games so the German schemer could get a recall in attack this weekend.
