Brady tells Patriots fans not to worry about his shoulder

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed practice Tuesday due to a reported left shoulder injury, although the team did not provide a reason for the reigning Super Bowl MVP's absence. According to Michael Giardi of NBC Sports Boston, Brady re-aggravated a shoulder injury that he originally hurt against the Panthers on October 1. The good news is that the injury is in his left shoulder - not his throwing shoulder.

"We'll put an injury report out after practice like we always do, " Belichick said when asked if Brady would be at Wednesday's midday practice.

Brady has been under pressure so far this season, taking 16 sacks - one more than he took in all of 2016.

Brady says he'll be on the field Sunday to play the New York Jets in a fight for first place in the AFC East.

Brady's been a hit a ton this season.

Brady is 40-years-old and has never taken a beating like this in his football life. During a time when nearly all quarterback's bodies break down (late 30s, early 40s), Brady has not missed a game he has been eligible to play in since that 2008 season. Against the Panthers, he was sacked three times and hit seven times.
