Doctor Investigated After Video About Him Screaming At Patient Goes Viral

Gallogly shouted at the patient, Jessica Stipe, reminding her that he had already tested her urine.

When Stipe asked for her co-pay back, the doctor got terse, video shows, and told her that she'd be waiting even longer if she were in the emergency room or at another clinic.

A Florida woman posted a video showing what appears to be a doctor cursing and yelling at a woman after she complained of a long wait line.

"When he saw it was being recorded he snatched my baby's phone and shoved her when she tried to get it back", Stipe wrote on Facebook. By 7:45 was not seen still in severe pain and throwing up in the trash can.

"Are you joking me?"

Stipe alleged that a doctor at the clinic got mad when she demanded her money back and "proceeded to cuss (her) out".

Dr. Gallogly released a statement Wednesday with regards to the incident as he said: "it was heavily edited and taken out of context", according to CBS.

When she told the doctor, identified as Dr. Peter Gollogly, that she had to leave, the doctor was seen on video getting angry.

She said in a Facebook post, which has been shared 2.3k times: "I asked for my co pay back so I could leave and go back home to bed and try to be seen elsewhere tomorrow because I'm just that miserable".

A person who answered the phone at the Gainesville After-Hours Clinic on Thursday declined to comment, but a statement on the medical center's Facebook page states that there was more to the exchange.

Stipe's video has been viewed over 200,000 times and has more than 3,000 shares.

Gainesville police spokesman Ben Tobias told The Washington Post that officers responded to the incident and have opened a criminal investigation into the case. "When I walked into the waiting room, Ms. Stipe (and her daughter) cursed and threatened me as they had done with the office staff previously".

"To those of you who support me you have my heartfelt thanks", she wrote. Do you know how many people.

He doesn't defend his behavior but claims he lost his temper: "While not an excuse for my behavior, a basic reason for my reaction is that I simply regard my staff as family, and I over-reacted to defend them". "But please appreciate that the video is but the last minute or two of a very abusive tirade against my office staff by the two women".
