Girl has adorable reaction to learning she is going to be adopted

"I was overjoyed and humbled", Alexander told 1010 WINS about being able to tell the family such incredible news. "We could not quit embracing". Jennifer Fisher says "I just thought oh, my gosh. It was pure joy at its finest".

Video showing Tannah Butterfield's reaction to learning she was adopted went viral.

'She just kept holding me tight, she kept holding me tighter and tighter, ' Alexander said to CBS News. "It was like 'Ah!' I was like screaming", Tannah remembered.

Alexander, who teaches at American Heritage of South Jordan in the United States, explained she knew the family who were in the process of adopting their three foster children, all of whom attended her school. "In 12 years at this job, this is by far my best moment ever". Alexander said when she posted the video.

"She just held me tighter and tighter and I took advantage of that", said Miss Jackie. "I can't even describe that hug", she said.

So when the adoption went through last Monday, Tannah's mom let Jackie Alexander break the happy news.

The Fishers are also adopting two of Tannah's siblings, Teagun, 6, and Tallie, 2.

Ms Fisher and her husband will adopt Tannah after fostering her for two years.

"I had to let people know there's a lot going on in the world, a lot of sadness but you know what?"

'A dear family I know has been fighting for as long as I can keep in mind to adopt three of their foster children that attend our school, ' Alexander shared in an Instagram post.

It is the attractive moment being shared around the world. Tannah's moment of unbridled joy quickly turned that around.

"They are just caring, loving, they take really good care of me", Tannah told local media. Tannah had this message for any child in her situation: "Never, ever, ever give up", she said.
