Monday weather: Sunny skies, with highs around 63

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76.

Saturday will be partly sunny with a high of 58 and a low of 46 and a 30 percent chance of showers.

Friday Night. Mostly clear.

The extra clouds come back on Saturday and it drops down into the low and mid-60s.

This will be the result of what should be a short-lived cold front that will move through the Abilene area Monday afternoon.

While the worst of the storm is now behind us, we're still going to be dealing with a few showers this morning as the area of low pressure that brought us wind and rain continues to churn it's way to the north and east. Winds gusted in excess of 60 miles per hour at one point. Southeast wind around 5 miles per hour.

As mentioned above, a few showers will linger early this morning; otherwise, expect mostly sunny skies this afternoon. South-southwest wind around 5 miles per hour. Halloween night will see partly cloudy conditions with decreasing rain chances and lows will be in the low/ mid-40s. Highs will be in the mid-70s.Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 63. North wind 7 to 10 miles per hour.

Tuesday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.

Temperatures will dip a little on Friday, with a high of 54 and partly sunny skies, the weather service said. North wind 5 to 11 miles per hour. Low: 60. High: 82.
