Airtel checkmates rivals with 300GB data plan valid for 1 year

The recharge pack of Rs. 392 provides 1 GB 4G/3G Internet data each day with limitless STD, local, and roaming calls for a validity of 28 Days.

Data tariff war among major telecom operators in India continues even after Reliance Jio scaled down its free unlimited data offer introduced in October a year ago and a few more attractive plans. According to reports, Airtel has updated its popular Rs.349 plan to offer more 4G data for the same price. In addition, Airtel has introduced an all-new high data plan of Rs 3,999 as well.

The Rs 999 MyInfinity postpaid plan from Airtel gives you 50GB of data per month without any daily FUP limitations.

Meanwhile, the company has also announced a new plan of Rs 3999, which offers 300GB of 4G data. the plan also comes with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day.

Apart from this plan, Airtel also rolled out another plan worth Rs.448 that offers similar benefits - 1GB data per day - with free incoming and outgoing roaming calls. Daily Voice Calls can not exceed 300 minutes as part of this plan. Customers can also avail 50 percent discount on the data plan by paying via Airtel Payments Bank.

Airtel has also revised its Rs. 349 plan. The data speed will be reduced to 64 kbps after using the 1GB Data daily limit.

The plan, priced at Rs 3,999 comes with a validity of 360 days, which is five days less than a year. Moreover, subscribers who opt for the new recharge plan from Idea's official website, or from the MyIdea app, will be eligible for an additional 1GB of data at no extra cost. If the user crosses the limit Rs 30 Paise will be charged for each minute. There is also Rs 348 plan for 4G handset users and that with 4G-enabled SIM card, offering unlimited 4G data for 28 days with a FUP of 1GB per day and free calls to any network across India (local+STD).
