Battle for Azeroth Revealed at BlizzCon 2017

For those of us who followed the whole Nostalrius server chain of events, the announcement of World of Warcraft Classic comes as no surprise, but for many, this is a long-awaited announcement and a way to return to the good old days of World of Warcraft.

New continents are being added to the world too, Kul Tiras for the Alliance which is the home of Jaina Proudmore, and the Troll island of Zandalar for the Horde.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth features multiple warfronts, new kingdoms to explore, allied races to recruit, as well as the ability to customise your weapons and armour with new powers and traits.

Here's some more information on World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, the new cinematic trailer and some screenshots. The new expansion has been titled Battle for Azeroth.

The expansion will also feature Warfront, 20-player cooperative PvE battles reminiscent of RTS favorite Warcraft.

He followed with a cheeky promise to "reproduce the classic gaming experience, but not the actual launch experience".

During this weekend's BlizzCon 2017, Blizzard Entertainment announced World of Warcraft: Classic, which will be a line of official servers from Blizzard that offers players the original, "vanilla" experience of classic World of Warcraft. Brack mentioned that Blizzard had auctioned away the game's original server blades in a charity auction years ago, then he said with a laugh, "we're probably going to need those back".

There's always a question of "what's next" in World of Warcraft. The level cap has been raised to 120 and players can also use the Heart of Azeroth neck piece and imbue it with Azerite to customize their armor with new powers and traits.
