CFB Playoff Hopes Wither Away for Washington, Pac-12

CFB Playoff Hopes Wither Away for Washington, Pac-12

"He played on one leg and played a phenomenal game". Both games are on the road.

Stanford has chose to stick with redshirt freshman QB, K.J.

Washington D vs. Stanford RB Bryce Love.

Just a week after falling to the other college program in the state, the Stanford Cardinal will now play host to the No. 9 Washington Huskies this Friday at 10:30 p.m. ET on FS1 (live stream). That was the loudest Husky stadium has been since the Stanford game previous year, and it was great. But that's the problem; I don't think the Stanford offense is capable of outscoring the Huskies, no matter how well the defense contains them. Costello makes his third start of the season and looks to bounce back from a rough day against Washington State. The Cardinal also did not allow a play longer than 35 yards and completely shut down the Huskies' ground game in the final two quarters. I say the Huskies never run away with it, but are in control throughout most of the game.

No. 9 Washington visits Stanford in the only Top 25 college football game on the Friday schedule.

Love hasn't completed a full practice in over a month due to an ankle injury.

Regarding offense, Washington has a star running back of their own in Myles Gaskin, who ran for 123 yards on 17 carries against OR last Saturday. This places his streak at first in the nation and second in Stanford history. However, even after claiming a share of the division title, the Wildcats would be ineligible to go to the Pac-12 Football Championship Game since they lost the head-to-head matchup against USC. Expect him to be a force against junior quarterback Jake Browning and the Washington offense, which will be hard to beat as Browning has 75 career touchdown passes tying Washington's all time record. While its last home game vs. bad UMass was too close for comfort, Alabama's offense is mediocre at best, and asking the Tide to cover 14 in an environment like this is probably too much. Costello, despite his struggles last week against Washington State.

How can you tune in to Friday night's game between Washington and Stanford?
