Eve Officially Joins 'The Talk' on CBS

In June, former host Aisha Tyler announced her departure from the show, explaining that she wanted to take time to focus on her other projects and directing career, as the latter is what she "wants to do with the rest of my life".

©2017 CBS Local Media, a division of CBS Radio Inc. Eve was a standout and proved she was the right fit earlier this month when she co-hosted for a week, impressing viewers, the network, and the cast.

As detailed by a video compilation shared on The Talk, Eve brings with her years of experience in the music and entertainment industry.

Eve makes her official debut on The Talk on Tuesday, November 14th on CBS.

Eve rose to fame in the late 90's in the world of hip-hop, peaking in 2001 with her Grammy-winning collaboration with Gwen Stefani for her biggest hit, "Let Me Blow Ya Mind".

"I feel like we're dating now".

"All of them told me that they believed in me, and I believe in them", she told PEOPLE ahead of her last show in August.

"The Talk" has had a hard year since Tyler left.

"The treasure of this show is my friendships with you guys, and that is something that I could never have expected when I walked in the door here", Tyler said of co-hosts Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, and Sheryl Underwood at the time. I am interested in hosting, and specifically on this show, because I feel as though I can express myself in a way people haven't seen me before, and be able to engage in great discussions [and] have some fun.
