IPhone X Has Green Line Display Problem

The analyst notes that the larger OLED model would presumably serve as a sort of "iPhone X Plus" featuring an edge-to-edge display and the general size of a Plus-sized iPhone.

The new iPhone X is displayed during an Apple special event at the Steve Jobs Theatre on the Apple Park campus on September 12, 2017 in Cupertino, California. Not to forget the screen burn-in issue with Google Pixel 2 XL which Google fixed in a recent update as it turned out to be a software issue.

Considering that's the main way of interacting with the iPhone X, this can get very frustrating. There hasn't been anything bad enough yet to spook investors - AAPL stock remains near record highs - but the iPhone X display may yet prove to be a problem that impacts sales. Many users have shared their concern about this defect on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Apple official forums.

The crackling occurs during all kinds of playback, including music, though many reports have said its especially bad during phone calls at maximum volume.

So far, three issues are starting to plague Apple's newest smartphone with the company speeding up software update solutions. A person who's spent $1000 on a phone will surely not bother such an issue.

Separately, some other iPhone X users have reported that the phone's earpiece speaker is giving off a crackling or buzzing sound, according a report by 9to5Mac. Of course that leaves the standard 4.7-inch iPhone 8 behind and Apple's production line may also soon reflect that. And while Face ID has proven secure in testing, it may not be as infallible as initially claimed.

Apple appears to be replacing handsets that are returned to its stores and are found to have problems, but that's probably not a whole lot of comfort to anyone that just handed over £999 or more for a new phone. While no one has an idea on how the iPhone X can go even bigger, a visualized render of the iPhone X Plus has surfaced recently.
