Jennifer Aniston And Reese Witherspoon's New TV Drama Gets Two-Season Order

So will they use the TV app, or will they release these shows through iTunes and make audiences pay per episode or per season?

The Morning Show drama, which doesn't have a proper name yet, has been picked up for a straight-to-series two-season order (each season will run 10 episodes).

Reese posted a snap with Jennifer, 48, to her 17 million Instagram followers, alongside the caption: 'So excited to be back and reunited with this one-of-a-kind lady!

The series is being described as an inside look at the lives of people who help America wake up in the morning, and will explore the challenges faced by the women and men on television breakfast shows. Can't wait for y'all to see what we have in store.

A Friends episode called The One With Rachel's Sister introduces Witherspoon's Jill Green, Rachel's spoiled younger sister who almost starts a relationship with her ex-boyfriend Ross. The series will be completely new property, but it will be using Brian Stelter's book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV, as additional background for the show to springboard from.

The 41-year-old Oscar victor gushed: "So excited to be back and reunited with this one-of-a-kind lady!"

"House of Cards" producer and political consultant Jay Carson will serve as writer, executive producer and showrunner.

Witherspoon celebrated the news Wednesday by sharing a photo with Aniston on Instagram. It is a revival of the anthology show by Steven Spielberg, which aired in the late 1980s.

Of course, romantic-comedy darling Reese Witherspoon has already found some great success on TV recently when she received an Emmy Nomination for her work on the hit limited series Big Little Lies.

The actress starred as Madeline Martha Mackenzie in the hit show and co-produced alongside fellow Oscar victor Nicole Kidman.
