Kevin Spacey dropped from film after fresh sexual allegations

The film is scheduled for a December 22 release, giving the film's producers less than two months to completely redo all of Spacey's scenes.

The surprising part of the recast is that Scott wants to keep the December 22 released date. It's not an entirely impossible task to redo his scenes, as much of the film focuses on Michelle Williams as Gail Harris and Mark Wahlberg as Fletcher Chase, Getty's assistant. Imperative Entertainment financed the film, and Friedkin and Thomas produced along with Scott Free's Scott and Kevin J. Walsh, Quentin Curtis and Chris Clark.

More fallout from the sexual harassment allegations against actor Kevin Spacey, as the Oscar victor is cut from an already shot movie, set to hit theaters within weeks. Scott is a maverick, and didn't shrink under the pressure to re-stage the key scenes involving J Paul Getty, the oilman who refused to pay a ransom after his grandson, John Paul Getty III was kidnapped.

A MA woman on Wednesday accused Spacey of sexually assaulting her 18-year-old son on the holiday island of Nantucket last year and said police had opened a criminal investigation. According to Deadline, the decision to replace Spacey and reshoot all of his scenes was "unanimous" among the film's cast and crew. It had already been pulled from its premiere next week over the mounting allegations against Spacey.

At a news conference Wednesday afternoon, Unruh said her son met Spacey at a restaurant and was "star-struck". More on the All The Money In The World Kevin Spacey exit below.

After the allegations were levelled against Kevin Spacey, Netflix also cut ties with the actor.

Broadway star Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of attempting to molest him when he was a teenager at a party in the 1980s.

Spacey is now off getting "treatment" probably the same place Weinstein is, probably watching his career go up in flames all around him.
