Millennium Falcon spotted under wraps on Google maps

The iconic Millennium Falcon has been spotted by fans, not in a galaxy far away, but on the borders of a golf course in Surrey - Barrow Hills Golf Club to be precise.

"My big Star Wars fan colleague walks his dog in this area and he nearly pissed himself when he found out that we were walking next to the Millennium Falcon every day".

With the help of Google Earth images, eagle-eyed sleuths have found where the Millenium Falcon is parked.

Still, the idea of seeing the Millennium Falcon hidden by colorful shipping crates is definitely hilarious.

Now that filming has wrapped on the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, it looks like the production team has made a decision to hide it in the great outdoors until filming starts for Episode IX.

With only a few trailers and merchandise to go on, fans have been taking cues from their favorite detectives to try and search for clues regarding the The Last Jedi.

The spaceship appears to be covered with a tarp and shielded from ground-level view by a number of shipping containers stacked around it.

Recently, "Star Wars" fans were treated to a new glimpse of the Millennium Falcon in a trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" which saw Luke Skywalker returning to the cockpit of the Falcon after more than thirty years.

The find comes with just over a month until the latest instalment of Star Wars.
