More Sunshine, Warmer Monday

More Sunshine, Warmer Monday

A slight chance for a few isolated showers returns to the forecast by Thursday and Friday ahead of the next cold front. Across our region, clouds will give way to sunshine today, which will boost afternoon temperatures well up through the 50s. Saturday temperatures climb into the upper 60s, but if the front pushes through before afternoon, low 60s would be more likely for highs. We could even see a bit of drizzle in the mix but that's about the extent of today's rain chances.

Friday: Expect a sunny and warm day.

A storm system will move across the Ohio Valley to end the work week, and a trailing cold front will sweep across the state late Friday and into Saturday with some showers and perhaps some storms.

The day will start with a few morning clouds that will give way to plenty of sunshine and a high of 68 degrees in the Mile High City. High temperatures will be near 70 degrees.

Skies will begin clearing Sunday night, giving us the chance for fog, especially after midnight.

Highs on Monday will be in the lower to middle 60s. High pressure will spread in and bring us dry weather throughout the rest of the workweek.
