OnePlus 5T Not To Accompany Wireless Charging; May Settle With Dash Charging

One thing that would be missing from the OnePlus 5T is wireless charging.

Now, the OnePlus 5T promises to be bigger and better than the OnePlus 5 and a recent tweet from the company's CEO Pete Lau stresses the fact that the OnePlus 5T is set to be more expensive than the OnePlus 5.

Also, wireless charging is not a truly wireless feature, meaning that the handset needs to be placed on a charging pad. While that was a good news, it was then followed by a disappointment that the phone will not support wireless charging.

Dash Charge is one of the fastest charging tech around. According to Lau's tweet, he talks about the rising cost of smartphone components, but he also adds that smartphones are getting better as well, and that OnePlus users will "appreciate" what's coming. The OnePlus CEO noted that Qi wireless charging is more efficient but has a limited range, while Airfuel (used mostly by Samsung and Qualcomm) is more convenient to use but is less common.

PVR Cinemas is a pioneer in introducing new initiatives in the cinema exhibition space in India and the live screening of the launch event of OnePlus 5T in NY across select PVR theatres in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune would be the first of its kind in India.

The company has also confirmed that you can buy the phone from November 21 so there will be a short wait before you will be able to get the phone. The first reason highlighted by the 42-year-old executive points to the proprietary technology that is touted to deliver as much as 20 watts of power to deliver a day's charge in half an hour. You can't pick up your phone to game or take a photo while charging. He believes that this - wireless technology has a lot of space to develope now.

They said that they did consider it and that they will offer it if the time is right but it is clear that they don't think now is the right time. TechRadar has claimed that a confidential documentation from carrier O2 confirmed that the identical price of the OnePlus 5T as that of the OnePlus 5.
