Terry Crews Files Police Report For Sexual Assault

On Wednesday, the actor was seen leaving LAPD's Hollywood division and confirmed to TMZ that the report was about the groping incident.

Crews filed a report at a Los Angeles Police Department station on Wednesday and since the alleged incident occurred previous year, it is within the statute of limitations in the state of California and could lead to a criminal investigation.

Terry Crews has reportedly filed a police report for sexual harassment in California.

He wrote that the man groped "his privates" in front of his wife and then "grinned like a jerk".

Several outlets, including NBC News and local station CBS 3, have since named Adam Venit, a talent agent with Williams Morris Endeavor (WME), as the alleged groper, citing law enforcement sources.

In his lengthy Twitter thread, which ran 16 tweets, the star explained that he was with his wife at an event when a high-level executive grabbed his crotch.

"This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD", he recalled in the first of a series of tweets.

Because the alleged incident occurred a year ago it is still within the statute of limitations in the state of California.

We reached out to Venit's rep. they had no comment.

"That night and the next day I talked to everyone I knew that worked with him about what happened".

Crews added that he chose not to act on the assault because his harasser had "power and influence" and he didn't want to risk being ostracized - even though the attacker admitted he was guilty in an apology phone call the next day.

'I let it go. "(Yes) R you prepared 2b ostracized?(No)".
