YouTube Go launching in South Africa

According to WABetaInfo, in the new Android update, WhatsApp is developing a new button that will allow users to quickly switch from voice to video call without stopping the voice call in progress.

Earlier, clicking on a YouTube link shared through WhatsApp on iOS used to take the user to the YouTube application. However, Android has finally caught up and it made things easier for them. The update will also let users navigate to another chat while you are watching the video. While making a voice recording on WhatsApp, a user would always have to hold a recording button or else the message would not be recorded.

No more countries will have access to the offline features at the moment, although users have already reported video downloads through a YouTube Go app downloaded from unofficial stores. Besides, phones that have limited RAM and older processors may not be powerful enough to handle multiple actions at once and will painfully slow down annoying most users to the core.

The new feature enables Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode, which allows users to continue watching videos while navigating to another chat. It was only yesterday that we came across a report tipping that the iOS version of the app is testing the dynamic location sticker feature. This would be annoying if the message was long or you wanted to do something else while the message was being recorded. Sliding it towards the padlock button will let them remove their fingers from the screen while continuing recording voice messages.

If you enter into your Apple itunes, a notification has been circulated by WhatsApp saying, "Want to easily record long Voice Messages?"

In a written statement on WABetaInfo in July, the tech blog's author said: 'How many times did you receive a YouTube link on WhatsApp and you were annoyed that WhatsApp opened YouTube to view it?

It may noted that WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to switch between voice and video calls amidst an ongoing voice call.
