Bridge Constructor Portal announced for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, and smartphones

So, who's excited? Would you like to see Valve bring its two main Portal games over to Android at some point? Hope for a new title in the franchise is all but lost. It is not surprisingly called Bridge Constructor Portal.

Headup Games has not yet revealed a price for Bridge Constructor Portal, but we don't expect it to be all that expensive. While this certainly isn't a Portal 3, which undoubtedly will leave some fan's disappointed, I think the a full-fledged Portal game on iOS really wouldn't work that well. A mashup can only make it more fun, right?

You'll need to combine your physical construction skills with your knowledge of the laws of physics and portals to overcome devious test chambers. The small teaser screenshot released alongside this announcement hints at some very Portal-like puzzles reconfigured to fit within the confines of Bridge Constructor's design space. You might even be waiting forever, if Valve drops Portal in the same way it has Half-Life.

Companion Cubes haven't been left out, either.

In any case, Bridge Constructor Portal is actually right around the corner. Bridge Constructor Portal will introduce a portal gun to spice up the gameplay and brings players back to the Aperture Science computer-aided enrichment center. A price is not yet listed for the title but all the other games in the series run $9.99.

Valve is attempting to have its cake and eat it too, by licensing its most popular brand without providing a truly meaty experience.
