Elton John Mourns the Death of His Mum: "Travel Safe Mum"

Elton John Mourns the Death of His Mum:

"It upsets me but, to be honest, I don't miss her", Elton said previously, according to the Mirror.

Sir Elton wrote: "Dear Mum, Happy Mother's Day!".

"We are now back in touch", he confirmed last December.

Sir Elton John has said he is "in shock" at the death of his mother only months after the pair were reconciled after not speaking for almost nine years. "I only saw her last Monday and I am in shock", he wrote alongside a photo of the two smiling. Thank-you for everything. In his post, he said that he thanked her for everything and said that he would miss her so much.

The details of how his mother died are not yet publicly known.

In March 2015, Farebrother revealed her son asked her to cut two old friends, Bob Halley and John Reid out of her life but ended in a disastrous argument when she refused, The Daily Mail reported.

"'However, I can say that we are now back in touch". According to the Daily Mail, the once-close knit pair had not spoken for almost nine years until they reconnected in May of this year.

When she celebrated her 90th birthday, Elton John took the first step and broke the ice by sending her an exquisite bouquet of white orchids.

Ms Farebrother was 92 years old.

During the midst of her feud with her famous son, Sheila Farebrother hired an Elton John impersonator, Paul Bacon, to perform at her 90th birthday. She genuinely loves the music. Bob is like a son to me. It's so hard to say.

"And I have to say, they have remained unused", he added, just as an FYI.

John was reportedly performing in Barcelona, Spain, before he heard news of his mother's death.
