Huawei Announces The Honor View 10 For India

Hot on the heels of the mid-range 7X, Honor has announced the Honor View 10, a flagship device that rounds off 2017 with the year's biggest mobile trend, an 18:9 display. There's also a dedicated AI engine which is responsible for scrutinising scenes in real-time for automatically adjusting the camera settings.Honor has apparently partnered with Microsoft and thus the Microsoft Translators use the AI engine.

Also bound for the US, but not for several months, is the Honor V10. There's also a function for users to take a photo of a sign in another language, which can be translated to English - a similar function to Google Lens. The Moto G5S Plus sports a pair or 13-megapixel sensors, and an 8-megapixel one on the front. So the Honor 7X is actually the same size as the Honor 6X which had a 5.5-inch display.

For the uninitiated, the View10 ships with a 5.99-inch, 18:9 display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.

HONOR HAS announced the much anticipated Honor View 10, the first global launch for the View series.

All of the above is powered by a 3,340 mAh battery and the device packs in dual SIM support with two SIM slots.

We have received the review unit of the Honor 7X and will be posting our first impressions soon. The smartphone is powered by the 2.36Ghz Kirin 659 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU.

Just like the Mate 10 Pro, the Honor camera relies heavily on AI to identify what you're taking a picture of, and adjust the image to take the best quality possible.

The Honor V10 has a dual rear camera setup of 20 megapixels and 16 megapixels with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, PDAF and 4K video recording. The Honor 7X is shaping up to be a great smartphone, especially for those that don't want to spend a ton of cash. Besides, 128GB of internal storage, the Honor V10 comes with an optional storage of 256GB via micro SD card. The camera is capable 300K pincloud reconstruction in 10s, and apart from 3D facial recognition can also create 3D scans of small objects.

In its razor thin body, Honor has packed a whopping 3.750mAh battery with fast-charge the company claims can get you to 50% from dead in half an hour.

The handset runs Android 8.0 with EMUI 8 to keep things refreshed. It's hard to judge low-light performance in just a few minutes in a demo area, but I feel confident in saying the View 10's camera is at least competent, this phone and stands a good chance of outperforming the 5T in darker conditions.
