Huawei Nova 2s Launching on December 7th with FullView Display & Four Cameras

Last week, it received the TENAA certification hinting the handset could get launched soon.

However, the latest leaked images on the Chinese social media site shows the Nova 2s which looks unmistakably similar to the rumoured Huawei Nova 3. It has the same full-screen design with minimal bezels around the display.

The Nova 2s feature dedicated audio chip for Hi-Fi audio output and NFC chip for making mobile payments via Huawei Pay.

Nearly bezel-less design, which is in line with the 2017 smartphone. Unlike the Honor V10, the Huawei Nova 2s comes with a dual camera setup on the front. The camera sensors are placed separately side by side. The smartphone was recently launched in China in three variants - one with 32GB of internal storage for CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 12,900), one with 64GB of internal storage for CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 16,800) and one with 128GB of internal storage for CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 19,800).

6-inch display. The Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus have 5-inch and 5.50-inch displays.

Other details include 20MP+16MP dual rear-camera setup, a dual 20MP front shooter, and 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0. The smartphone is powered by in-house Kirin 960 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. Both the cameras have an aperture size of f/1.8. Apparently, Huawei included a no less impressive 20-megapixel camera in the front too.

As for the price, the 4GB/64GB model goes for CNY 2,700 (about RM 1679) and the top spec model goes for CNY 3,500 (about RM 2176) which puts it cheaper than the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, which start at CNY 3,900 (about RM 2425) and CNY 4,900 (about RM 3047) respectively. So you are recommended to take the information with a grain of salt.

Now, all that left to know is the cost of this smartphone for which we will have to wait until December 7.
