Jennifer Lawrence Talks 'Harvey Weinstein Scandal' In Candid Interview With Oprah Winfrey

If we know anything about Jennifer Lawrence, it's that her ideal night includes staying home and drinking wine (same). Winfrey followed up, to which Lawrence responded, "I think so".

While the 27-year-old Oscar victor says she's never come face-to-face with Trump, she told Winfrey she'd "definitely" be prepared if the opportunity presented itself. "I didn't know that he was a rapist". I watch different characters on the news, and I'm like, 'You just wait.'" She continued: "Oh, my God, I've been waiting for this moment. I loved this so much, and it just broke my heart, especially for Darren [Aronofsky] because he loved this person.

For the first time since the hack, she did what she described as a sexy film "Red Sparrow" as a way of "taking something back". If I'm on this commission, and (if) I get an email about somebody being treated badly on a set, I can send an email. "You wouldn't want me to say it to you".

'It was violating on a sexual level'.

During a recent interview that was conducted by Oprah Winfrey the actress revealed that if she could invite any three guests to her dream dinner party, Scott would definitely be on the guest list.

Lawrence, who won an Oscar for the Weinstein-produced Silver Linings Playbook, initially said she was "deeply disturbed" to hear of the allegations against the Hollywood mogul.

"He had only ever been nice to me - except for the moments that he wasn't, and then I called him an a***** a class="key_underline" href="" *Kate Beckinsale, Cara Delevingne, Angelina Jolie, Rose McGowan, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwyneth Paltrow".

"I was abused by a woman on a movie", she tells Oprah. "But I was abused by a woman on a movie ... He was paternal to me", she told the Hollywood Reporter. And she had to be the mouthpiece... "So I needed a moment to process everything because I thought I knew this guy, and then he's being accused of rape", she said.

At one point during the conversation, Winfrey, who campaigned for Hillary Clinton for president (sort of), asked if Lawrence had ever met Donald Trump. I'm sad by the women's stories, but I'm excited by the change that's going to come from it.
