LaVar Ball pulls Lonzo Ball's brother LiAngelo Ball from UCLA

LaVar Ball pulls Lonzo Ball's brother LiAngelo Ball from UCLA

The younger Ball and the two freshman teammates with whom he was caught stealing Louis Vuitton sunglasses, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley, missed their eighth game Sunday, the Bruins' 106-73 win over the University of Detroit Mercy.

We're told LaVar believes the suspension was unfair, especially since the charges were dropped.

"I told my boys that one of them wasn't going to make it".

"He's not transferring to another school", Ball told ESPN.

Our sources say LiAngelo is not officially withdrawn from the school but he's at home and will not return to UCLA.

As LaVar Ball weighs options for his middle son, it's safe to say that a jump to the National Basketball Association shouldn't be one of them.

LaVar Ball, the bombastic owner and founder of the infamous BBB, is a man known for bold moves and even bolder statements. His brother Lonzo played one season with the Bruins before being drafted No. 2 by the Lakers.

Alford indicated last week that he expected the fate of the three suspended players to be resolved in the near term.

"They had him there just to use the Ball family name".

However, a family spokesperson also noted that both LiAngelo and LaVar appreciate UCLA for the opportunity to play there and for everything they have done for the family. The NCAA was asked by ESPN about the matter and said, "Generally speaking, a college athlete or prospect paid for use of their athletics reputation or ability risks their future eligibility in that sport".
