RIDLEY Says She's Done as REY After STAR WARS: EPISODE IX

RIDLEY Says She's Done as REY After STAR WARS: EPISODE IX

Although fans might wish Daisy Ridley would commit to playing Rey beyond "Star Wars: Episode IX", the actress has given contradictory responses when discussing her future in the franchise. "So in my head, it's three films".

Still, Ridley, who came into prominence when she was introduced as Rey in 2015's 'The Force Awakens, ' has positive sentiments toward the franchise. "I think it will feel like the right time to round it out". Because the thing I thought was so fantastic, was people really wanted it. I hadn't read the script, but from what I could tell, it was really nice people involved, so I was just like, "Awesome". Given how much of the promotion seen for Star Wars: The Last Jedi hints at Kylo further trying to seduce Rey to join the dark side, it seems to be a safe bet that their connection will be further explored. So Ridley is open to the idea of coming out of retirement later down the line. If you can't make it to one of the big auto shows this year to see the cars in person, don't worry, as you can experience all the excitement from a galaxy far, far away in a new dealership augmented reality app experience.

The film stars the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, Laura Dern as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, Benicio del Toro as a DJ, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata, Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, and Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma.
