Saif Ali Khan: Will shift Kaalakaandi release if Padmavati hits theatres

On Wednesday, Bollywood Hungama had a fun chat with Saif Ali Khan at the trailer launch of his upcoming film "Kaalakaandi" where he talked about everything from films, to his Netflix show to his daughter's debut film.

In fact, we came across a picture of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan from the sets of the film that has gone viral on social media platforms. I hope we don't have to do that.

And he's confident his new film will be well-received, "Kaalakaandi is a film I am proud of". Directed by Akshat Verma, Kaalakaandi will hit the screens on January 12. Personally, I feel it's a good time to have films releasing alongside one another. Now, Everyone is excited to watch the Kaalakaandi Movie Trailer, which going to out at 7 PM.

The box-office hasn't been kind to Khan over the past few years - his last release, Chef, didn't manage to rake in the moolah. I get my confidence back every time, irrespective of whether my film works or not.

Talking about being spokesman for the Mumbai T20 League initiative, Saif said "Bollywood and cricket" have a great connection.

After giving fans, two mysterious first look teaser posters for the movie, the makers have finally unveiled a poster for the movie which gives a "freakishly twisted" look at Saif Ali Khan and the movie. "I'll keep working and hopefully, things will fall into place", he said.

Saif added: "I liked his (Raja's) attempt, it was a little European in flavour, and the drama could be a bit more, and I think he generally avoids drama. I truly consider it to be one of my best films and am really forward to the release". "I think my acting has improved working with some of these guys". I don't think it was even publicised correct. "But filmmakers are wary about it and you need to take that into consideration".
