Kidman noted that her "Big Little Lies" character was in sync with the ongoing conversation in Hollywood surrounding sexual assault and harassment. More than anyone who took the stage before her, she was going to take the opportunity she was given to call her industry to account.

It was the fourth Golden Globe win for Nicole, who won for her role in the critically and commercial hit Big Little Lies.

Nicole continued to gush: 'My achievements are her [Janelle's] achievements.
