Google Has Sold A Home Speaker Every Second After Its Release

Over the course of 2017, Google sold "tens of millions" of its devices for the home. Google now has three Home products- Google Home, Google Home Mini, and the Google Home Max.

If you take a look at the Home Max, it only launched mid-December and costs $399. However, the Google Home Mini which is priced at just $49 in the USA must have sold in millions. After all, the Home Mini was on sale for $29 for most of the season.

High tech companies are now pouring millions of pounds into developing voice-controlled smart speakers, such as Amazon Echo and Google Home, in the belief that the limited two-way conversations that they can hold will soon become more complex and life-like. The survey also suggests that sales of smart speakers will have reached the third of the population of major markets, such as China, India, the US, Brazil and Mexico by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Google also touched on sales figures.

Furthermore Google pointed out that they would be revealing more features and future of Google Assistant in 2018 at the CES 2018. Users can broadcast their voice through Google Assistant on smartphones or voice-activated speakers like Google Home. If you find a device that works in your smart home - you can purchase the item through The GearBrain, to help make your buying experience easier.

Voice controlled home assistants have been making their way into households over the past few years and the trend will continue in 2018.

Apart from this, the Google Assistant for Home has some more features such as reminders, asking to play/pause music, etc. Google made a decision to brag a bit about how successful its Home speakers have been in a blog post published yesterday.
