Jerry Rice has a warning for Raiders players about Jon Gruden

The Grumors are over.

"Please welcome the head coach of the Oakland Raiders, Mr. Jon Gruden!".

The $100 million man would not talk about his 10-year contract, but did show some of the entertainment chops that he has honed at ESPN since 2009.

Oakland and Chicago announced the hirings of Jon Gruden and Matt Nagy to their respective head coach positions Tuesday afternoon as the National Football League head coach carousel wheels continue to churn. Apart from that, it was also rumored that the Raiders offered Gruden an ownership stake just to lure him out of the broadcasting booth and put him back on the sidelines.

"Brady fumbled that ball", Gruden said, before turning serious. "This is a five-star operation, and I think this program - if you're willing to spend the time to investigate it, look at it, study it - you'll want to send your kids here to play". "But here I am, I'm ready to get to work".

It was 20 years ago that the Raiders originally hired Jon Gruden as their head coach before trading him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. Though he warned he didn't know for how long.
