Marvel's 'Runaways' and 'Future Man' Renewed for Season 2

Hulu has greenlit action drama "Marvel's Runaways" and comedy "Future Man" for second seasons, each with an order for 13 new episodes.

Marvel's Runaways airs exclusively on Hulu starring Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes, Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru, Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder, Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein, Virginia Gardner as Karolina Dean, and Allegra Acosta as Molly Hernandez. What if you found out they actually were?

Hulu followed up their success by expanding their slate - namely with Marvel's Runaways and Future Man - that's created to reach wider audiences. Developed for TV by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the duo behind other great teen shows like Gossip Girl and The OC, Marvel's Runaways has takes follows how the seven teenage characters react to learning their parents are evil.

On Tuesday, Marvel's 'Runaway's was officially renewed for season 2 on Hulu with the season 1 finale just about to debut on Tuesday. It isn't clear when production will begin on this new season, or when the production will announce any new Runaways cast members.

Future Man stars Josh Hutcherson as a janitor who receives a visit from commandos from the future who inform him that he's the key to saving their civilization from annihilation. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg (This Is the End, Preacher, Superbad), Matt Tolmach (Spider-Man, Jumanji, Rock That Body) and James Weaver (This Is the End, Neighbors, Preacher) executive produce. It is Marvel's first Hulu TV show and it's success could potentially mean more collaborations between Marvel and Hulu. The series stars Josh Hutcherson who gets recruited by a mysterious organization to travel trough time to save humanity from extinction.
