New Samsung Notebook Features Rotating Screen, Biometric Security

"Our customers wanted a functional, intuitive device that includes a wide range of their favorite features, and that's what we've delivered with the Notebook 7 Spin (2018)". The Notebook 9 Pen comes with a 39Wh battery, which isn't great.

The Notebook 9 Pen was originally announced about a month ago along with a couple of other products. The Notebook 9 Pen will be competing against Microsoft's Surface Book. The moments I spent with the Notebook 9 Pen were perfectly snappy and indicated that it would slot into my daily workflow without issue, but this since this still non-final hardware, you'll have to wait for a more complete verdict. The Notebook 7 Spin (2018) comes equipped with Voice Note that features a far field microphone to record conversations, meetings.

As for the specifications are concerned, the Notebook 7 Spin (2018) features a 13.3-inch Full HD PLS display and it is powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor.

Unlike the original model, which offered both a 15-inch and 13-inch size, Samsung is only offering a 13-inch model this year, with features a fairly lackluster 1080p resolution. The 7 Spin arrives in the decidedly broader Q1 timeframe. It's also commendable for Samsung to include backlit keyboard, curved keycap and a precise touchpad called Clickpad. At the heart of the device is an 8th-gen Intel Core i7, backed by generous amounts of RAM-up to 16GB depending on the model-and a 512GB SSD. The laptop also comes with one port each for USB-C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and HDMI. When you pop the Pen out, you'll get a nifty, Galaxy Note-style "Air Command" menu with different shortcuts, such as Create Note, Smart Select, and Screen Write. The stylus is battery-free and fits nicely at the base of the device. Samsung claims its convenient tilt detection allows for a more natural drawing and writing experience. According to Engadget, if you lose the hybrid laptop's S Pen, the Galaxy Note's stylus works just fine with the device.
