Pink will be the national anthem singer at Super Bowl LII

The vocalist, who was born Alecia Beth Moore, will sing the national anthem ahead of the February 4 title game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the NFL announced Monday. Her latest endeavors include her 2018 Beautiful Trauma World tour, which is set to kick off on March 1 in Phoenix.

Multiple Grammy Award victor P!nk will sing the National Anthem as part of pregame activities for Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis. Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are among the other entertainers to recently perform the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

Pink's performance in Minneapolis will air before kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 4.

Pink, 38, who is yet to publicly comment on the news, will be accompanied by deaf actress Alexandria Wailes, who will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "America the Beautiful" in American sign language. The singer-songwriter will take the stage before the game begins and before Justin Timberlake is scheduled to play at the game's halftime show.

A couple days ago, Pink may have foreshadowed this announcement in a tweet about her excitement for 2018: "I'm really looking forward to 2018".

Jimmy then says: 'You do half time?' The NFL does not pay performers to sing at the Super Bowl.

This year's halftime honors are going to Justin Timberlake for a second time.
