Seahawks, Eagles, Titans to make London debuts

Dates and times will be announced in April when the National Football League releases its full schedule.

For the Dolphins it is a reprieve after offering up to play last season.

It's impossible to predict in January which teams will be good in October, but all three London games that were announced on Thursday should be good matchups.

The contest in London has the makings of a high-powered game, too.

The first game of the series sees a marquee matchup between the Raiders and Seahawks on October 14 at the new Spurs stadium. Including giving up a home game to play in London, Miami ventured the fourth-most miles in the league at 27,520.

While the Colts won't be playing in London, they also don't seem to be partaking in the Mexico game, either as that will reportedly be between the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs.

"Since we last visited London in 2008, the NFL's popularity has continued to grow in the United Kingdom", A.G. Spanos, the Chargers' president of business operations, said in a statement.

According to NFL.com, by the end of the 2018 season, the NFL will have played 24 regular-season games in London, with 29 of 32 teams having participated. Oakland and Seattle did in 2016. Oakland hasn't exactly packed the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum to the gills, and owner Mark Davis has willingly traded a true home game for an global one. Jacksonville always does because owner Shahid Khan wants to expand his small market team's reach. Every team has to go over to London to expand the NFL's brand. Fireworks should ensue between a Jon Gruden led Oakland team and Pete Carroll's lively 'Hawks.

Once the Raiders move the Las Vegas, this trend will hurt the Raiders new hometown. Knowing that these are two of the biggest fan bases on the West Coast. The Raiders and Chargers are awaiting construction of new stadiums, and the Jaguars have a long-term agreement to play in London to combat low local revenues in Jacksonville.
