Tiger Zinda Hai touches magical Rs. 300 crore mark

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is directed by Kabir Khan, who also directed Ek Tha Tiger (2012), which is the prequel to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Released on December 22nd, the film crossed 100 crore mark in just three days and now trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed that the film has entered the coveted club of 300 crore film.

Salman Khan's next Race 3 will also surely have an worldwide touch to it.

The Salman-starrer however trails miles behind Baahubali 2, which is the only film to collect more than 500 Cr nett. The film now stands at 308 crore strong *Bajrangi Bhaijaan total would be surpassed by end of this week. The third spot is now held by Salman's own Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) with Rs86.28 crore.

What are your views on Tiger Zinda Hai 15th day collection? Having crossed Rs 500 crore, this becomes highest grossing, biggest ever blockbuster of Salman as even Bajrangi Bhaijaan could not reach this number as Bajrangi managed to collect Rs 487.2 crore. "#TigerZindaHai is Yash Raj's HIGHEST GROSSER so far..."

After a surprisingly underwhelming box office experience with Tubelight earlier a year ago, Salman Khan needed this film to work bigtime and it certainly has.

While the fact that there has not been any big Bollywood release post Tiger Zinda Hai has felicitated the movie to make itself such a big hit, the recent unrest and bandh across Maharashtra have apparently affected its business to a great extent.
