Andy Cohen says Sex and the City feud entirely one-sided

Andy Cohen is weighing in on the feud between his friend Sarah Jessica Parker and her former Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall.

In an Instagram post responding to Parker's post sending her condolences Cattrall also linked to a New York Post article about the "Mean Girls culture" which reportedly destroyed the Sex and the City franchise.

In a scathing attack on Parker, who played fashion-obsessed Carrie Bradshaw, Cattrall, 61, fumed: 'My Mom asked me today "When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?" I try to stay out of that bulls-t, you know what I mean?

"Sarah Jessica, she could have been nicer, she could have in some way".

For the first couple of years, Cattrall had a real ally on set in the form of series creator and producer Darren Star.

Sarah recently said she was "heartbroken" by comments made by Kim past year that claimed they were "never friends" while working on "Sex And The City", and said she "could have been nicer".

In 1997 Kim was cast as man-eater Samantha in the adaptation of Candace Bushnell's book Sex And The City. Well, she got it. Congratulations, Kim. "The only thing she's ever commented about the movie or about Kim not wanting to do the movie was that she was disappointed that the studio pulled the plug on it". Sources claimed Cattrall told Warner Bros she'd only move forward with the film if the studio produced other projects she'd been working on.

Parker has said that she has found Cattrall's comments very upsetting when she was interviewed recently by Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live".

He also added that while Cattrall doesn't want to do a third film, the others could still do one - and he hopes they do. "A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell", SJP told InStyle in 2014. I can't begin to know how her family is managing such a loss. She later became close to the fourth star, Kristin Davis.
