Chinese woman climbs through X-ray scanner to 'protect her money'

However, this Chinese lady took it to the next level.

Too speechless to intervene, train station staff allowed the woman to go through the X-ray with her items.

In a weird incident that occurred at a train station in Dongguan, southern China's Guangdong Province, on February 11, a woman climbed inside an X-ray machine as she was scared that her bag could get stolen during the mad rush. As I'm sure they would be.

"You see new odd things every day", a person wrote on social media after seeing the Dongguan footage. The startling incident took place on February 11.

According to NDTV, the woman actually got on to the conveyor belt with her bag and made her way out from the other side (with her bag of course). It's the Lunar New Year travel rush, also known as the largest human migration in the world.

The woman reportedly didn't trust train security staff with her handbag.

Two X-ray images showed a silhouette of the woman, still in her high heels, kneeling on all fours behind her belongings.

The woman passenger, however, did not face against ill-effects, the security staff members at the Dongguan railway station warned all the other passengers not to indulge in such exercises.

Imagine being the officer in charge of monitoring the X-ray machine.

Doing so can be harmful as the machines emit radiation.

Even if you're particularly attached to your belongings, don't jump into an X-ray machine. Crouching through a tunnel with things stuffed in, that's a thing of my nightmares!
