Predicted Reds XI to face Southampton in Premier League

Since he arrived here at Liverpool, he has changed my positioning, put me playing as a forward and that was the watershed [moment] for me here at the club.

At [2.52] to score in 90 minutes, he looks an attractive bet.

The Brazilian was equally positive about current boss Jurgen Klopp.

Southampton have no new injury worries, with Manolo Gabbiadini back in the mix, but Charlie Austin remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. That is the only thing we have to plan around but that is because he had an injury, like we do with Adam Lallana. Klopp could choose to play Milner in midfield as well.

Le Tissier believes Van Dijk will be a success at Liverpool, but he needs better players around him.

"Our players must be focused and give to our supporters with good feeling, attitude and energy to try to be 100 per cent on the pitch".

Former Southampton defender, Virgil van Dijk, is expected to keep his place and Adam Lallana is in contention to get a start as well. They have gone six games unbeaten in all competitions, and Pellegrino says the drug known as self-belief is being freely used by his players (don't write in - there isn't a real drug called self-belief).

It's been a season lacking in success stories for the Saints so far.

Luckily the midfielder's ban doesn't count in Premier League games so Lallana could be in the squad on Sunday but I think he'll be named among the substitutes.

Liverpool are the sort of team that tends to shine in the biggest games.

Having made his worldwide debut with the senior England team previous year, he could become a surprise contender for a flight to Russian Federation this summer if he's able to build further on the progress he's made up to this point.

And Klopp believes rather than anger, some Southampton fans might be grateful for the hundreds of millions their club has cashed in on from Liverpool.

This is also something that's been compounded by the Reds allowing Daniel Sturridge leaving the club on loan.

Southampton have been mostly disappointing but the likes of James Ward-Prowse, Sofiane Boufal and Mario Lemina have stepped up in this hard phase and are enjoying an impressive run.

With the season running into its busiest and most critical phase, this is a risky path that the club have taken. We really think much more about the football game and what we have to do and not about how we can avoid different situations from outside because we don't have influence. If Liverpool pick a strong side and hit top gear, they should have no problems here.
