Prediction: Leicester City vs Swansea City

Manchester City could make a deadline-day transfer raid for Leicester forward Riyad Mahrez but look certain to have to stump up another club-record fee.

The 26-year-old has yet to say when he will consider returning and, after Saturday's game, Puel offered no comment on when Mahrez was likely to play for Leicester again.

Sky Sports reported that the Premier League leaders made a cash-plus-player offer worth around £65m ($92m) for Mahrez on 31 January, but it fell short of Leicester's valuation of £95m. "If the players don't play and don't follow, you can have the best plans in the world but it will not work for sure".

Puel was frustrated following Saturday's 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium, where it was hard to escape the notion that perhaps Leicester are not the same side without the former PFA Player of the Year.

With Mahrez out of the side in their last two Premier League matches the Foxes have struggled, losing at Everton and then getting a point against relegation-threatened Swansea.

"All of our management with Riyad will be between the club, the player and myself", said Puel.

"We are going to see what happens in the summer".

Leicester will be hoping to put the Riyad Mahrez saga behind them as they head into this game hoping to continue their strong home form.

We will have to wait and see what Riyad and Leicester City's next move is. hopefully for Foxes fans it doesn't involve him leaving the club!

The story of a player being denied a move to a bigger team is not a new one, but as Leicester are now discovering, the fallout can be all too real.

"They achieve one goal and could have achieved another and they were the team that created the most amount of chances against us since I arrived to Swansea".

Perhaps we should wait for more information to come out before passing judgement. It is a tough situation for us to manage after this transfer window, but I think it is important now to move on and to keep our focus on the football. May he come back to us in great shape.
