Premier League clubs line up to sign Real Madrid star

The tactician is a long-time admirer of the Belgian, and is believed to be disappointed with many of Isco's performances this season.

German manager Joachim Low has been identified by Real Madrid President Florentino Perez as the flawless successor for Zinedine Zidane. Zidane is the first ever manager to have won the Champions League twice in succession but has not been able to steer his side like the last term this time around which is not "acceptable" at a club like Real Madrid.

"Isco is a very good player".

Real Madrid have had a disastrous 2017-2018 season.

"It's a lie that I want Isco to be sold in the summer. I was asked before [during the January transfer window] why weren't we going to sign anyone", Zidane told reporters.

"I want Isco [in my team] and I want him to spend his whole life here".

A move to Liverpool, the new favourites to acquire his services, could be exactly what Isco needs to get his career back on track, and he should be able to establish some more consistent game time in England.

Nevertheless, Zidane was keen to point out that his backing for Isco did not mean a guaranteed run of starts, given the competition for places in his Madrid squad.

I think we all know these kind of players. "Everyone is important", he said. I am happy here and I see a club that still wants to win a lot of titles. "I'm not interested in anything else". My intention was to succeed here, in the team that put their trust in me when I was at Malaga.

Zidane is under pressure after enduring a bad term in La Liga, despite storming to the title last season, and is said to be disappointed with a number of influential players.

"These questions are common".

Thibaut Courtois wants to, one day, return to Spain.

In 29 appearances this season, Isco has contributed six goals and five assists for Zidane's troops and the 25-year-old certainly has plenty more to give than that.
