'Westworld' Season 2 Trailer

If you recall, the first season when through numerous delays as the production outpaced the writing of the scripts.

At long last thirsty Westworld fans have a significant amount of new footage to chew over before the surprise 2016 hit returns to puzzle and entertain on April 22 this year.

HBO will release an ad for the highly-anticipated season two of Westworld during the 52nd Super Bowl on Sunday.

And if you recognize the music in the trailer - that's the player piano version of "Runaway" by Kanye West.

"This world deserves to die, because this is your world", Evan Rachel Wood's character Dolores Abernathy narrates.

"Look at this world". "But this world is a lie", she says. Because this is your world. We can save this world. We can save this world, we can burn it to the ground and from the ashes build a new world: "our world", alongside scenes from the new season.

When we last left the park, it was in chaos. Moving beyond the Western-themed park was teased at the end of season 1, when we got a glimpse of Samurai robots. It soon becomes that the hosts are not happy with the things they discovered in the first season of the show.

Katja Herbers (The Leftovers), Jonathan Tucker (Kingdom), Neil Jackson (Sleepy Hollow) and Gustaf Skarsgard (Vikings) have joined the cast for the coming season; in addition, Season 1 standouts Louis Herthum and Talulah Riley have been promoted to series regulars for Season 2. For months, fans speculated about when the show could come back, but know one knew for sure.

The drama series, which turned out to be an enormous smash when it first aired on the network, is going to be officially premiering on Sunday, April 22.

The trailer still gives us very little in the way of plot.
