WoW's Battle for Azeroth begins in September

Late a year ago, Blizzard announced WoW's next expansion, pitting the horde and alliance forces against each other once again in the "Battle for Azeroth".

Pre-orders for the expansion are going live, at £40 for the standard edition and £52.00 for the Deluxe Edition.

Purchasing Battle for Azeroth will grant players a character boost that can be used on any character and will instantly level them up to 110, the current maximum level pre-Battle for Azeroth. The pre-purchase page also gives us a hint as to when Battle for Azeroth will be launching: a Summer 2018 release window with an "on or before September 21, 2018" stipulation. In order to gain access to these new races, however, players will need to have exalted reputation with certain factions before they gain a quest to unlock the respective races.

Buyers of both editions will receive a level 110 character boost so that you can dive straight in to the new content without going through the grind. If you do decide to level up one of the new races from 20 to 110 will unlock a set of cosmetic gear known as Heritage Armor.

-Overwatch®: "Champion your faction on the battlefields of tomorrow with Horde and Alliance voice lines for Torbjörn and emotes for Tracer; sprays featuring Anduin, Sylvanas, Jaina, and Varok Saurfang; and player icons representing Kul Tiras and Zandalar". There will also be new game modes which involve exploring uncharted isles of Azeroth to collect resources against enemy players, and a 20-player, RTS-Warcraft-inspired cooperative mode that will have players battle for strategic locations against enemy forces.

With this expansion also comes the usual addition of content, such as the level cap being raised, new dungeons and raids being added, new continents, and new mechanics. In Hearthstone, there's a new card back.

StarCraft II: Make your mark on distant worlds with Horde- and Alliance-themed sprays.

- Heroes of the Storm®: Roar onto the Battlegrounds of the Nexus riding your Primal Flamesaber, a fiery new mount with three variants.
