You obviously don't need a valid warranty to restore your broken phone to good working order, but be warned that "fees may apply".

This partnership will convert over 300 uBreakiFix locations across the United States to Samsung "Authorized Service Providers". "If you break anything on your Galaxy S9, this video shows the process of me repairing and replacing all the major components".

"At Samsung, our goal is to provide Samsung Galaxy owners with a customer first care experience that is as innovative as our products", Samsung Care Senior Vice President Michael Lawder said in a statement.

It's worth mentioning that Samsung customers can schedule an appointment at one of the authorized uBreakiFix service locations, or they can simply drop off their device without an appointment.

To make this possible, the company has partnered with uBreakiFix so that you are able to get the best possible fix services should anything happen to your smartphone.

Much has been made of the price of Apple's rival iPhone X and, to a lesser extent, how much the pubic could expect to pay for Samsung's new phones. And just in case you are thinking that you might be getting subpar replacement parts for your device, Samsung reassures customers that genuine parts and tools are used to complete repairs, and all technicians are Samsung-certified.

Currently, uBreakiFix has more than 300 locations, but that's expected to expand by almost 200 more by early 2019.

These Samsung Care authorized service locations are already in every major U.S. metro area, but by early 2019, the company plans to add 200 more uBreakiFix locations in order to reach even more customers than they already do.
