Refurbished phones now account for almost one out of every 10 devices sold, representing the fastest-growing segment of the global smartphone market, according to Counterpoint Research.

The Bloomberg report also says that for the upcoming iPhone X-series smartphones, Apple "is considering a gold color option".

Premium smartphone pricing has been increasing year by year with Apple raising the bar this year with an iPhone X that may be expensive for worldwide markets like the Americas and Europe, but are outrageously expensive in countries like India thanks to heavy import duties.

Finally, the news leaker says that the device is under testing and under production.

When it comes to video, the Consumer Reports found the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 to be "excellent" while the iPhone 8 Plus was found to be "very good". Some consumers were turned off by the iPhone X's $1,000 price despite liking the design even as they wanted something more cutting-edge than the cheaper iPhone 8.

However, the new budget iPhone will reportedly have a larger 4.2-inch display screen compared to the 4-inch display of the old iPhone SE. Apple's entry-level tablet has a 7.9-inch screen. Like the iPhone 8 Plus, the new handset will probably enable split-screen modes for certain apps.

Perhaps Apple's most daring move will be what Gurman describes as a cheaper (but larger) variant of the iPhone X which the company believes will be "a model for everyone". Both of these telephones are relied upon to use cutting edge A12 processors and will keep on including stainless steel edges, they say, and will be Apple's top of the line cell phone offerings.

Market research firm Gartner said Apple accounted for 17.9% of smartphone sales to end users in the fourth quarter, putting it in second place behind Samsung, which grabbed 18.2% of the market.

Apple's choice to likewise construct a less expensive telephone is an affirmation that the present section level 8 models too almost look like the iPhone 6 presented in 2014.

Number of iPhones sold: Apple makes a bulk of its revenues and profits from its sale of iPhones. This is partly because older smartphones often don't have the processing power or physical hardware to support new software like voice assistants, and virtual and augmented reality.

Like the iPhone X, the larger model will include a Face ID scanner that unlocks the device and enables payments. It'll use LCD screen technology similar to the iPhone 8, with aluminium edges and a glass back. In 2013, the organization appeared the iPhone 5c, which had a polycarbonate body and came in different hues. Apple soon discontinued the 5c.
