Three Quincy residents arrested in meth raid

Suspects allegedly dumped meth materials in the Mississippi River

Three Quincy residents were arrested late Tuesday after a raid by members of the West Central Illinois Task Force, Adams County Sheriffs Office, Quincy Police Department, and the Illinois State Police Meth Response Team.

Rodney L. Gallaher, 46, Thomas L. Kealen, age 28, and Poshia L. Oliver, age 36, all of 627 1/2 Lind Street were arrested for  meth related charges after the Task Force raided their home at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Gallaher, Kealen, and Oliver were all arrested for Aggravated Participation in Methamphetamine Production, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor.  Gallaher was also arrested for Methamphetamine Waste,  after disposing of meth materials in the Mississippi River.  All three were lodged in the Adams County Jail.

M/Sgt. Patrick Frazier of the task force reported that agents seized a shake and bake methamphetamine laboratory and numerous components used in the meth manufacturing process during the search on Lind.  Lab components were also seized as part of this investigation on Sunday morning in the Mississippi River, near Front and Delaware Streets.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
