Company also moving corporate headquarters from Philadelphia to Milwaukee

From From businessjournal.com:

The company announced today that Milwaukee business executive Tim Sullivan is resigning as president and chief executive officer. Sullivan, the former CEO of South Milwaukee-based Bucyrus International Inc., took the Gardner Denver role in August of 2013.

Sullivan will be succeeded by current Gardner Denver board member Peter Wallace who will become CEO effective immediately. Wallace's career as a senior executive in global industrial equipment manufacturing spans nearly 40 years. He previously served as CEO of West Milwaukee-based Rexnord Corp., where he worked for 25 years across various management and senior leadership positions prior to his becoming CEO in 1998.

When Sullivan became CEO of the company, Gardner Denver opened an office at 222 E. Erie St. in the Historic Third Ward in Milwaukee, occupying about 10,000 square feet of space.

The Gardner Denver press release today announcing Sullivan's resignation used a Milwaukee dateline. When asked if Milwaukee is considered the headquarters of the company, Gardner Denver Vice President of Human Resources Curtis Selby said in an email, "yes, it is correct as we are in the process of relocating from our previous location in Wayne, Pa."

Selby could not be reached to provide additional information about how many jobs or what the size of the company's corporate headquarters would be in Milwaukee.
