Culver-Stockton College reaches full residential capacity

1 year, 4 months ago by

Culver-Stockton College is announcing the fall 2014 admission deadline as July 15, instead of the original deadline of Aug. 1. The deadline change is due to the largest incoming class of new students in nearly 15 years and a noticeable increase in retention of current students.

"As enrollment numbers nationally are down, we are very excited to go against that trend," Misty McBee, Director of Admission said. "The campus is buzzing with excitement as the additional housing is being built to accommodate the larger class and we await all of the new students to arrive on campus in August."

Because of the rural location and lively College community, Culver-Stockton College is primarily residential, with more than 95% of students planning to live on campus in the fall. This puts the College at full residential capacity, although regional commuting students will still be accepted through Aug. 1, 2014.
