Salvation Army continues Chirstmas Campaign

2 years, 7 months ago by

Campaign is about $17,000 short of goal

The Salvation Army will continue its annual Tree of Lights Christmas Campaign into the month of January in order to meet the goal of raising $375,000.

To date, $358,199 has been raised to help fund The Salvation Army’s efforts in the Quincy region for the 2013 year, which leaves $16,801 left to be raised.

Donations to The Salvation Army Christmas Campaign help provide Christmas food boxes, toys for children, delivery of gifts to nursing homes and shut-ins, and community holiday meals.

These funds also support year-round programs and services such as the emergency shelter, food pantry, rent and utility assistance, disaster services, youth programs, summer camp and much more.

With more than $16,000 to be raised before the end of January, your help is still needed to ensure quality programs and services for the coming year.
