Task Force arrests three women following two separate meth busts

On Thursday, agents with West Central Illinois Task Force and Officer's with the Quincy Police Department conducted a search at 1034 N. 2nd Street in Quincy.  Agents seized numerous items used in the shake and bake methamphetamine manufacturing process.  Arrested on the class X charge of Aggravated Participation in Methamphetamine Production was resident, Patricia S. Ahern, age 44.  The charge was aggravated due to a person over 60 years and a person under the age of 18 being in the residence.   Ahern, who is currently free on bond on a separate Adams County Aggravated Methamphetamine charge was lodged at the Adams County Jail.  M/Sgt. Patrick Frazier of the task force reports that the Department of Children and Family Services was notified of the child being present during the search.  A separate investigation will be initiated regarding the child.

On Thursday, agents with the West Central Illinois Task Force and Deputies with the Adams County Sheriffs Office served a search warrant at 1421 Lisa Drive.  The search resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and pseudoephedrine packaging.  Residents Bonny G. Blackorby, age 54 and Renee L. Cook, age 45 were both arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors.  Blackorby and Cook were lodged at the Adams County Jail.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
