Event will include produce, herbs, gardening tips and info on sustainable living
The 2nd annual Locally-Grown Herb Fest is happening June 20th & 21st at Four Winds Farm, 3729 N. 36th Street in Quincy, IL. This family event is sponsored by the Muddy River Herb Guild; with support from the Tri-State Local Food Network and the U of I Extension Master Gardeners. The festival will include locally-grown and locally-made produce; herbs, herb-related products and more! Activities include: music, food by Maine Course restaurant’s food cart, vendor booths, educational demonstrations, gardening tips, “ask a Master Gardener” your gardening problem, guided tours of the Four Winds Farm theme gardens; plus time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The festival offers a time to learn more about herbs, gardening and sustainable living.
Admission is free: donations will be gratefully accepted. Meals, snacks, beverages and will be sold. Grab your lawn chair and please carpool. Parking is limited.
